Lorenzo Savignano - Design and Photography Consultant

Designer, entrepreneur, producer and cinematographer, Lorenzo Savignano was     born and raised in Milan, Italy.  He attended    the Leonardo da Vinci School of Interior      Design and launched his own business after graduation. For 25 years Lorenzo specialized in residential and commercial interior design and creating high-end upholstered furniture. His list of European clients includes Georgio Armani, Olivetti, the Gucci Family, Luca Sabatelli, the renowned architects - Castellini, Suzuk and Italian stars, Ornella Vanoni and Adriano Celetano.

With a keen eye for style, blending perfection, perspective and balance, Lorenzo explored many other art forms. His association with film director and award winning designer, Armondo Linus Acosta provided many important and exciting opportunities for Lorenzo.

From 2001 through 2004, Lorenzo was Associate Producer for The ONE Foundation's participation in the annual New York City Gay Pride Parade Competition.  Lorenzo was responsible for managing over 40 European cast and crew members.  The ONE Foundation is an AIDS educational and awareness non-profit organization.  During these years, their award-winning participation in the New York Gay Pride Parade received national and international press coverage.

For six years, Lorenzo was Production Designer, Set Designer and Producer for a variety of theatrical and motion picture events in New York, Rome and Gent.  In 2002, with his long and varied professional experience, his ability to work with people from diverse cultures, proven managerial and supervisory skills, plus his talent and techniques, Lorenzo was appointed First Assistant    to Armondo Linus Acosta.

Spreading his wings into the world of visual and sound design, Lorenzo studied film-making, cinematography and editing techniques.  His first short film, The Magic of Seva received its world premiere in 2006 at The Academy of Film and The Arts Film Festival at the Kinnopolis Theatre in Gent, Belgium.  Lorenzo's association with The Academy of Film and The Arts continues to flourish.

Working on the independently produced motion picture, Shooting Stars, directed by Armondo Linus Acosta, Lorenzo was brought onto the set as Producer, Prop Master and Set Designer. Lorenzo managed a cast and crew of 200 and was responsible for the lighting and construction crew, the staging and camera departments. The film, shot in part on location in Las Vegas is presently in post-production.

Lorenzo brings to Piccolo Productions a deep commitment, love of theatrical expression, art and design, over thirty years of experience as an artist, entrepreneur, producer and of course his Italian heritage.

Lorenzo sincerely believes Piccolo Productions IS the Renaissance of film and live entertainment.  Coming from an Italian, who can argue with that.
